I'm thinking it's probably better to keep just a bare system image as when you load programs and then make a system image. Though I've not gotten around to doing that yet. And I planned on keeping that spare bare hard drive aside to put in the computer every once in a while to do OS updates, and keep an updated bare image. So I had planned on wiping and installing the bare OS on a spare hard drive to then make a backup copy of to keep as an bare fresh image. Turned out one of the factory installed programs started causing BSOD. ![]() And I had since on the other factory hard drive had problems of crashing, and after long long searching. And I did do that on a fresh warranty replaced hard drive and saved a fresh factory image. I know what you are talking about on a system image. I already did try uninstalling all Corel products, and I used a program to search out "Corel" and delete all files associated with "Corel", but that did not do anything when I later reinstalled Corel X6. I tried restore, but I guess it wasn't long enough.
